The Easthope Family loves to have fun!

I still have not figured out how add the Blog address to my favorite Webb list, so it will post it in the address field. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? To get on I have been using a email Melissa sent me, but when I posted it to my favorite list it will not put it in the address field. In my favorite list the address starts with a double flag looking symbol rather then an "e" symbol like my other favorite addresses.

Is there ever a time when I just understand how to do a computer thing??????

Dear Deanna, Irwin, Melissa, Mary, Spencer, Melvin, Brothers/Sisters, Family Members and Friends:

Plus 9 and melting around here today, can’t beat that! When the real melt begins there is going to be lot water. I would think the drainage ditch in the lower town may come over its banks. One year it did, since I have lived here. This is a good year to be on the high side of town. I was able to get the ice off the drive way today. I am going to have to watch the edges of my driveway a little as the snow melts or I may have a water problem coming back to the house on into my garage.

We will see after Sunday, how I like this earlier Daylight Saving Time. This morning when I was out for my walk, it was the first day the sun was high enough to shine in my eyes.

Well this has been an off week for me. I finished the Dinner Theater set on Monday and moved my tools back home. I spent Tuesday repairing several of my tools that I had at the Elks Hall. It is funny how I can use a tool for ever and have no problems with it and some else uses it breaks. Near the end of Tuesday I got rid of the waste material from the set that was in the shop. I just cut it up and put it in garbage bags. Wednesday I took the van it to get the new lock and license plate holder put on. Boy that didn’t work out very good with the cost, it came to $558. The rest of Wednesday I just worked around my Den cleaning up things I had put off. Wednesday I also finished the genealogy course I have been compiling. So I can now almost see my desk again, but there are several things still there to do. I have been on that course since October. So my genealogy work is way behind where it should be.

Today I have been trying to invent a way to build a wet painted picture drying rack for the Elementary Art Room. I have been trying to come up with a sheet metal rack. I made a prototype.

Next week, I have to start on the cupboard for the Extended Care Hospital. That should take only a few days. I bought MDF white shelves to build it out of, so every side is already the correct width. They want a cupboard to put things in the patients can touch and feel.

Deanna is very busy doing free income tax, for low income people. Mary you need to get your papers to your mother, if you want her to do yours. Melissa just faxed a copy of the T4’s so her mother would have the right numbers; you might want to do the same.

We have a meeting of the Cultural Society Building Committee tonight. We are now ready to start hiring some of the different trades we will need. The Alberta government made a whole lot more money available to community’s societies yesterday in the Throne Speech.

Well, Irwin is now over the hill in the 30+ cub and Spencer is another year older also, so will Melissa and Deanna be older by the end of the month. Most of the family birthdays come in March.

Well Melissa you will have to come up with some instruction for on how to and where to enter your Blog address. I can only get on, using your email you sent me, with the Blog address in it. I don’t see many of you siblings entering to much information yet. I may try and copy and paste this up date to see if that works.

Now on to the Oilers. I think that everyone should just stop going to the games. We all need to send a message to Mr. Lowe. It is just not fair to all the people who buy tickets to have such a poor team on the ice. I know they have injuries but your system just has to have more players in it. Even the Calgary sports station is calling for his head. They don’t understand the last three trades either. Low still says he is going to make some big deal this summer. Well I am sorry; I have not liked one of his big deals yet. They are always for someone who is already over the hill. How about Pronger, he is injured again. The old WHL Edmonton team was better with Jacque Plante in goal in his mid 40’s.

I turned off the game last night and watched Lethbridge play Medicine Hat. Boy I couldn’t believe how much the players looked like they were still playing Midget. I hope it looks better next year when I go to an Oil King game, in Edmonton.

Well I have got some salmon steak for supper. I hope the next time I cook them I can barbeque them. I think they taste much better from the barbeque.

Well have a good day
